Brooklyn Stitch Shop grew out of Brooklyn Stitch Studio, our sewing studio in Gowanus, Brooklyn. What started as a summer sewing camp in 2021 turned into a full studio where kids and adults come to learn, and have fun behind a sewing machine.

We stock what we sew. The fabrics and notions in this shop are the same materials our students use in class every week. When something becomes a favorite in class, it goes in the shop so you can sew with it at home

Whether you've taken a class with us or you're sewing on your own for the first time, we're glad you're here.
